These sleeping giants are hand carved from shimmering labradorite. Each necklace is strung on a cruelty free waxed cotton cord; choose black, beige, or brown, with your choice of fixed length finished with sterling silver fastenings, or adjustable length with slip knots.

Sperm whales, known for their incredible size and intelligence, spend remarkably little of their time sleeping. When they do rest, it can be an extraordinary sight, with groups of these enormous cetaceans observed floating vertically just beneath the surface of the water. Their unusual sleeping behaviour is just one of the many fascinating characteristics of these mysterious creatures and a beautiful reminder of the wonders of the natural world.
