FAQS
How do I know if my order has been dispatched?

You will receive a dispatch confirmation email when your order is on its way, please check your junk email folder in case it is in there.

My parcel hasn't arrived yet - what should I do?
If you are within the UK and have not received your order within 5 days of dispatch please get in touch with us.

If you are outside the UK and have been waiting in excess of 5 weeks we recommend checking with your local post office as they might be holding your package.

Can you replace my cotton cord/vegan silk?
We're more than happy to send you a new cotton cord for your adjustable necklace, free of charge. Just send us an email with a picture of your piece plus desired cord colour (black, brown or beige).

For all fixed length necklaces finished with sterling silver fastenings (cotton and vegan silk), we offer restringing for £7. You will be responsible for shipping costs to and from. Please contact us HERE to arrange.

My crystal pendant broke - what can I do?
Given the delicate nature of our hand carved crystal products, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on any broken piece. This holds true no matter how long or short a time you've had the piece. Once it leaves us fully intact it is your responsibility to keep it safe! It is not feasible for us to replace or issue refunds on products that have been damaged or broken outside of our care (similar to any artist selling fragile work, such as pottery/ceramics, glass, fossils, crystals, etc.)

There is hope! We know it sucks to break a special hand carved piece, but they are often fixable with a little bit of gem glue. This works best on clean breaks. We recommend the brand Gem-tac as an inexpensive, widely available gem glue that dries clear and works incredibly well.

Where do you source your stones/crystals?
We work with two people who source our raw stones; one in America and one in York England. Both personally travel around the world to various mines and ensure they do not purchase from mines that are over mining, causing environment harm, creating habitat loss, or treating their employees unfairly. Both are also certified fair trade. We do occasionally purchase cabochons from independent lapidary artists, all who purchase their raw stones directly from the mines. Sustainability is very important to us, so we try to do what we can while providing our crystals and jewellery.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

Every single one of our jewels is hand crafted, often with very intricate detail, so always handle with great care.

Hand carved crystal creatures and leaves:
Given the exposed nature of all of our pure crystal pendants, each is very delicate and must be protected and gently handled. We recommend storing them in safe places: away from potential risks of being knocked, dropped, or clinked. When wearing your creature or leaf, avoid layering it with other pendants that may touch or knock into it. Avoid showering or getting your cotton cord/vegan silk wet - this will ensure its longevity.

Sterling silver and gold pieces:
Please be aware that all darkened/oxidized silver will likely become brighter with wear, just as polished silver tends to oxidize with time. All metal tarnishes with exposure to oxygen and moisture, so store in a dry location, preferably in an airtight bag, anti-tarnish pouch, or sealed jewellery box. To remove tarnish, simply use a polishing cloth (these are widely available online and must be suited for the specific metal you are planning to polish). Gently rub your piece with the cloth with even pressure in the areas you'd like to shine.

Hand knotted necklaces:
When properly cared for your hand knotted necklace will last a lifetime. If at any point you break some of the stones and would like to have your necklace restrung, we offer that at a £60 restringing fee plus shipping costs.

All of our Ethiopian opal pieces require special care - care instructions are included with every opal sale.

General:
Long term exposure to sunlight can increase tarnish and damage or fade the colour of certain stones like amethyst, citrine, rose quartz, smoky quartz, opal, turquoise, aquamarine, sapphire, to name a few. For this reason, please store your jewels and crystals in the shade.

RING SIZING

We strongly recommended that you get your ring finger professionally sized by a local jeweller. Please be sure of your ring size before placing an order. If you would like a ring sizer sending to you please get in touch HERE
We do not resize rings but your local jeweller should offer this service.
Because of the way some pieces are designed and created, it doesn’t always allow for resizing.
